Drawing on influences from Colombia and Latin America, traditional and popular Latin American music, as well as world music (folk, Celtic, Balkan and Middle Eastern), jazz, rock and pop, Jorge Porras has established himself on the scene as a versatile musician, pianist and keyboardist.

Jorge Porras has recently performed in Germany for a diverse audience with bands such as genFloyd (a rock tribute to Genesis and Pink Floyd), Los Xixos (psychotropic cumbia), Cohimbre (Cuban son and salsa) and Nastea (pop), and has produced for bands such as Daylight Music (songwriter) and Mystery in Space (krautrock).
